On your assigned day as Attorney-for-the-Day in County Court, please check in Judge
Hudson's Part.
If you have a conflict on the day you are assigned, you must “swap” your day with a
participating attorney from the calendar. If you have any problems, contact our office and we
will make arrangements for your date. The Court has a copy of this list and will be expecting
you to be available on your scheduled day.
If an attorney does not show up on his calendared day, they will automatically be
removed from the calendar rotation.

| may waive the production of a client who is in the custody of the Sheriff of Suffolk County and whose criminal is pending before a judge sitting in the Cohalan Court Complex. To do so you must complete a Notice of Appearance and Waiver of Production form. (SEE FORMS.) The completed form is to be faxed to Captain Denise Zeitler at (631) 853- 7599. A completed form can be faxed up until 9:00 p.m. This information will then be forwarded to the Office of the Sheriff so that the defendant will not be produced unnecessarily.
